So,  its almost 1 year on since SpottedPlanes was officially started back on 20 August 2013. Take a look below at some of our milestones.

  • Edit/Delete Log entries function added
  • Click-able hyper-links in log comments (just paste the URL to things like photos of aircraft you have on other websites….be sure to include the http://
  • The Spotters Leader board – can you make it to the top?
  • Spotting Statistics – See your statistics based on Aircraft Type, Airline, Airport(Location), Registration or Serial number
  • Aviation Chat – Chat live 1 to 1 with other logged in SpottedPlanes users or in the group chat room “Aviation Group”
  • Avatars – Now you can add an avatar/profile photo. To add one, go to your Profile

AN-225 to visit East Midlands Airport

The only AN-225 is planned to be arriving at East Midlands Airport on 12 June 2014 at 18:00 hrs and is rumoured to be leaving on 13 June 2014 at 10:00 hrs.

A rare opportunity for plane spotters to see a rare aircraft. Arrive early as road traffic is expected to be busy as a music festival is starting at Donington Park on 12 June 2014 (Download Festival)

Delete your log entries

It is now possible for users to delete their own log entries. When viewing your log, you will see the “Edit/Delete” option at the end of the row. Click this and you can either edit the record or delete it
